“I have been doing 3D art since the original Unreal Tournament was released. I had dabbled in a few crappy 3D applications before then, but nothing serious. When UT came out, I decided I wanted to make my own levels, objects, characters, etc; I wanted to make my own world. That is when I picked up 3D Studio Max and started getting some models done. About a year or so later I discovered the vast potential of Maya (and mental ray), and made a complete switch. I have been using Maya ever since, mostly as a creative outlet, but also to waste time which I had a whole lot of back then. I am entirely self taught and self motivated.” - Erik

As one of the emerging artists in the art movement of Fantastic Realism, Kris Kuksi has become a profound voice in a new wave of contemporary art that includes the Surreal and Visionary. He continues in the technical tradition of the old masters along with disciplined anatomical study that he applies with a modern cutting edge appeal. A keen observer fascinated with nature and psychology, he prefers to create a look that is both aesthetic and slightly unusual to reflect his taste for the enigmatic.

“I was born in 1972 in Birmingham, England. I’ve been drawing ever since I can remember. My first experience with digital art was way back in 1980, assembling images out of ASCII characters on a Commodore VIC-20. Computers have been as important to me as pencils and paper ever since. These days, all my work is digital.” - Matt Dixon

“I guess I feel like if I don’t show you everything, then I’m not showing you who I am. But this is me. This is where I’m at as a photographer in my career. There’s work on here that I’m very proud of, and there’s work that I don’t think is that great. But it all represents me just the same. It feels very complete having it all up here for you to see.” - Jeremy Cowart

“I’m utilizing stark, amorphous lines to trace the movement and human experience of the non-linear and imaginational realms. Through this intuitive visual language, a negotiation of the visceral and everyday human experiences of beauty and pleasure, and feeling are given voice.” - Justine Ashbee
