Anamorphic illusions drawn in a special distortion in order to create an impression of 3 dimensions when seen from one particular viewpoint.

Julian Beever has made pavement drawings for over ten years. He has worked in the U.K., Belgium, France, The Netherlands, Germany, the USA and Australia.

Hi,

In know Julian’s works for sometime – I didn’t know this one – and he’s trully amazing.
Kurt Wenner is also a must.
Another great work of street art is Muto wall painting animation.
Anamorphic perspective, contrary to what many people may think has been used for centuries, namely in the painting The Ambassadors. It can also be found in ancient Greece, namely the Parthenon columns which aren’t straight so that they look straight to us.
Another topic that could be discussed would be the quadratura…
