BECK Sketchel
Beck’s latest album release has launched some exciting creative collaborations with international designers, including a very conceptual and functional art object called a Sketchel, which is a custom bag project created by the Jeremyville crew.
The Beck Sketchel showcases an exclusive design by awesome French artist Genevieve Gauckler, who also contributed art to Beck’s new album sleeve. Genevieve created a design specifically for this project, incorporating her iconic black figures into a Beck landscape on a heavy canvas that is housed within the bag front flap.
Beck Sketchel in Japan For avid Japanese fans, a very limited number of Sketchels will be available at each show on the Beck Japanese tour in April 2007.
Beck sketchels are highly collectible and rare limited run art objects, which also happen to be functional shoulder bags, for a discerning art and music fan base worldwide.
Sketchel is an ongoing collaborative art bag project and gallery that features an original artwork on a canvas panel incorporated within the bag, by some of the freshest, most talented artists in the world today. Some artists include Gary Baseman, Miss Van, Tim Biskup, Saiman Chow, Tim Tsui, and over 300 others.

MAiLmeART.com was created by Darren Di Lieto, the founder and editor of LCSV4, after toying with the idea of doing a collaborative project that everyone involved in gets something out of. MAiLmeART is a little project designed to test your skills, make you some money and give you the chance to have a bit of fun. Oh!.. and win some really cool prizes.
“Submissions can be envelopes or packages which have been drawn on, painted, dipped in acid, covered in paper mache (anything you want really) but they must look amazing and they must have traveled though the post with the postman able to see the work, so you can’t paint a canvas and wrap it up and post it to me. The wrapping is your canvas or in most cases an envelope.” - Darren Di Lieto
