Foster and Partners - McLaren Technology Centre
Foster and Partners is an international studio for architecture, planning and design led by Norman Foster and a group of Senior Partners. Norman Foster’s philosophy of integration can be seen in the way the practice’s London design studio works; it is essentially one large open space, shared equally by everyone, and free of subdivisions to encourage good communication between the many people who come together there.
Viewed on plan, the building is roughly semi-circular, the circle being completed by a formal lake, which forms an integral part of the buildings cooling system. The principal lakeside facade is a continuous curved glass wall, developed in part using McLarens own technology, and shaded by a cantilevered roof. Internally, the building is organised around double-height linear streets, which form circulation routes and articulate fingers of flexible accommodation. These house production and storage areas on the lower levels, with top-lit design studios, offices and meeting rooms above. Directly behind the facade a circulation boulevard leads to areas for hospitality and to the staff restaurant, both of which look out across the landscape.

His character driven work consists of cute creatures that manage to make destructive and disturbing adult behavior seem almost innocent. By combining an array of everyday experiences with absurdity and the subversive, Joe consistently make us laugh at how seriously we sometimes take life. With grace and style his paintings are brought to life using an amazing combination of colors, shadows, and thick black lines. Formerly a graphic artist for the apparel industry Joe now spends his days in his Los Angeles studio as a full-time artist.

Dreamlines
Dreamlines is a non-linear, interactive visual experience. The user enters one or more words that define the subject of a dream he would like to dream. The system looks in the Web for images related to those words, and takes them as input to generate an ambiguous painting, in perpetual change, where elements fuse into one another, in a process analogous to memory and free association.
